Hampton Lake Bucks National Sales Trends

Defying downward national real estate sales trends, Hampton Lake continues to see encouraging sales through the first half of 2010.

The award-winning lakeside community reported 62 real estate transactions in the first two quarters of the year – a 50% jump over the same period last year -- moving their total sales to well over 500 since sales were first made available in 2006.

According to marketing director Kristen Lee, the community’s year-to-year prospect leads have also grown in both number and overall quality, which bodes well for the continued stream of buyers of both full time residences and vacation properties.

Lee points out that Hampton Lake has grown into a thriving, vibrant neighborhood with nearly 160 homes in varying stages of construction or completion - 112 of which are currently occupied by full-time residents.

A key reason that Hampton Lake has become a pacesetter in the region’s new home market is because the developer has made a determined effort to have its individual homebuilding companies focus on current trends which accommodate the energy efficiency values of today’s homebuyer, as well as other floorplan designs that emphasize a more relaxed lifestyle.

Hampton Lake’s 2010 sales thus far represent a wide range of residences including single family homes, attached townhomes, vacation villas and custom homes as well as homesites.

Developer Plans to Take Advantage of Upswing in Housing Sales With Strategic Product Launch.

Bluffton, S.C.Sept. 21, 2010 – Encouraged by recent statistics showing a rising trend of new home sales in Beaufort County, Hampton Lake has introduced an impressive new product line of custom homes to be constructed by four leading area homebuilders: Tilton Group Signature Homes, Custom Classics by David Weekley, Harden-Tuten Custom Homes and Full Circle Development.

The 900-acre, award-winning, lakefront community is expecting its array of amenities along with its unique location just a short distance from the beaches of Hilton Head Island and the historic streets of Savannah, Georgia will be especially appealing to families and retired couples moving into the area, as well as others looking to build a ‘customized’ home.
